Atlantic Health System (AHS), one of the largest non-profit healthcare networks in New Jersey, is seeking Neurocritical Care Advanced Practice Clinicians (NP or PA) for Full-Time and Per-Diem opportunities at multiple locations in Northern New Jersey, including the Atlantic Neuroscience Institute at Overlook Medical Center and Morristown Medical Center’s Luciano Family Trauma and Acute Care Center.

As a Neurocritical Care Advanced Practice Clinician, your responsibilities will include conducting comprehensive assessments, interpreting diagnostic results, performing bedside procedures, writing daily progress notes, educating patients and families, and attending meetings. The Atlantic Neuroscience Institute at Overlook Medical Center is the flagship facility for neuroscience patients, with a 29-bed unit and a 10-bed Neuroscience Critical Care Unit for patients recovering from stroke, brain surgery, seizures, nervous system infections, head trauma, and spinal surgery. Morristown Medical Center’s Luciano Family Trauma and Acute Care Center is a verified Level I Regional Trauma Center by the American College of Surgeons and designated a Level II by the state of New Jersey.

Qualifications
• Master’s degree in Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner from an accredited program
• Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey
• ACLS and BLS certification required
• Minimum of 3-5 years of Acute Care experience as an APN is preferred
• Must have at least 2 years of Critical Care/Neurology as an NP experience
• Must have excellent communication and computer skills
• Strong work ethic and a team player who can work independently
